Welcome to the YouthBank Tower Hamlets website.
It is a grant giving body, offering grants to local young people who would like to do a project that will benefit people within the community.
Youthbank is different to other schemes because not only does it exclusively fund activity organised by young people it is managed and promoted locally by young people.
The YBTH committee consists of a group of young volunteers who meet on a weekly basis and assess any applications for grants that have come through. Often an application may not be too clear but these are not dismissed, instead the committee will contact the applicant for clarification and offer advice to them, if needed.
